Note: The IRR adopts the definition under the law, except for adjustments to the writing style including the capitalization of defined terms, “Generation Company” and Distribution Utility” and insertion of “Franchise Area”. The definition under aforementioned Revised Rules and Regulations Implementing Certain and Special Provisions of the Philippine Cooperative Code of 2008 part of the definition of Electric Cooperative (EC).
