In electric power: the system of allowing any qualified person the use of transmission, and/or distribution system, and associated facilities subject to the payment of transmission and/or distribution retail wheeling rates duly approved by the ERC [Section 4(ll), Electric Power Industry Reform Act of 2001]
In electric power: the system of allowing any qualified Person the use of transmission, and/or Distribution System and associated facilities subject to the payment of transmission and/or distribution retail wheeling rates duly approved by the ERC. For this purpose, qualified Persons shall include all WESM Participants [Section 4 (hhh), Rules and Regulations to Implement Republic Act No. 9136, Entitled “Electric Power Industry Reform Act of 2001”]
Note: The IRR adopts the definition under the law, except for an adjustment to the writing style (capitalization of defined terms, “Distribution System” and “Person”) and for the addition of a sentence: “For this purpose, qualified Persons shall include all WESM Participants”.
