In electric power, EV: a vehicle with at least one (1) electric drive for vehicle propulsion. For purposes of this Act, it includes a BEV, hybrid-electric vehicle, light electric vehicle, and a plug-in hybrid-electric vehicle [Section 4(k), Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act of 2022]
In electric power, EV: a vehicle with at least one (1) electric drive for vehicle propulsion with reference to those provided in Section 5 of the EVIDA-IRR [Section 4(l), Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act No. 11697 of the Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act]
Note: Under the IRR, the term is written as “EV” only. The IRR also adds a cross-reference to the section in the IRR that tackles the term, replacing the clause in the law listing the types of EVs.
