In biofuels: Republic Act No. 9367, An Act to Direct the Use of Biofuels, Establishing for this Purposes the Biofuel Program, Appropriating Funds Therefor, and for Other Purposes [See Section 1, Biofuels Act of 2006]
Note: This is the short title of the Act. The Act was signed into law on 12 January 2007. The Department of Energy issued DOE Department Circular No. DC2007-05-0006, Rules and Regulations Implementing Republic Act No. 9367, on 17 May 2007.
The Biofuels Act of 2006 was amended by Republic Act No. 10745, An Act Allowing Natural Gas Power Generating Plants in the Country to Use Neat Diesel as an Alternative Fuel, Exemption Them from the Requirements of Paragraph 5.3, Section 5 of Republic Act No. 9367, Otherwise Known as the “Biofuels Act of 2006”. The DOE issued Department Circular No. DC2016-07-0012, Implementing Rules and Regulations for Republic Act No. (RA) 10745 or the Amended Biofuels Act of 2006, on 24 June 2016.
