In energy sector governance: Republic Act No. 11234, An Act Establishing the Virtual One-Stop Shop for the Purpose of Streamlining the Permitting Process of Power Generation, Transmission, and Distribution Projects [See Section 1, Energy Virtual One-Stop Act of 2019]
Note: “Energy Virtual One-Stop Shop Act” is the short title of the Act. The Act was signed into law on 8 March 2019. According to the second and third whereas clauses of Department of Energy (DOE) Department Order No. DO2019-04-0012 titled “Creating the EVOSS-IRR Technical Working Committee to Formulate the Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act No. 11234 Known as the Energy Virtual One-Stop Shop Law”, this Act took effect on 29 March 2019. The DOE issued DOE Department Circular No. 2019-05-007, Rules and Regulations Implementing Republic Act No. 11234 (Energy Virtual One-Stop Shop Act), on 28 May 2019. The whereas clauses of DOE Department Order No. DO2019-04-001 refers to “EVOSS Act”.
